We were tasked with upgrading the old, single glazed windows at a first floor Pilates studio and office. Our role included determining the specifications for the new windows, quoting, and managing the installation.
After consultation with the tenant to confirm the practical requirements, we engaged our joinery supplier to manufacture and deliver the new aluminium, double glazed windows – one of which was a large, 6.5 m wide unit!
The works’ location was directly above the outdoor area of The Brewers pub and restaurant, and there were four separate tenancies affected on the first floor. We worked closely with all tenants and contractors to coordinate the installation and ensure everyone’s safety while still providing an acceptable workspace for all. As a bonus, the opportunity to lift such a large window into place provided a great photo opportunity.
