A new residential development in Christchurch

A new two storey residence at the waters edge in Kaikōura. This project was designed to make the most of natural light and maximise the stunning views of the Kaikōura Ranges and coastline. Strict height limits made for a challenging design process, but we were up for the challenge!

A boutique 2 bedroom modern cottage, located in the secluded picturesque Inland Kaikoura. This wee gem featured full timber claddings and internal linings throughout – everywhere. Floors, ceilings and walls – this is all about the timber.

This residence offers luxury and space, with open plan internal areas linking to the elevated decks – to soak up those great Kaikoura peninsula views. Downstairs offers a large games room and separate entertaining.

This country homestead style house is set on the flat plains of Kaikoura, providing an expansive home where the brief was to provide ‘big space’. Oversized ceilings, doors and room sizes give our client the atmosphere they desired with all rooms opening out to a verandah to enjoy the northern views and sunshine.

Hidden away in native bush, elevated high above Mangamaunu Bay – this two bedroom residence is one of a kind, with panoramic views to both the coastline and the mountain ranges behind.

A loft style residence overlooking the Hapuku River and plains to the Kaikoura coast. The building is designed to sit along side a large shed of the same shape, appearing as one structure when viewed from afar.

The loss of the old building following the 2016 Kaikōura earthquake presented an opportunity to create a structure that could better serve the community’s needs.

This was a concept to consent design project in a new subdivision, where our goal was to create a distinctive street frontage and appearance for our client’s building.

A new home for a young fishing family in the breathtaking Mangamaunu Bay.

This project was a collaboration between our project management and design teams.

Our task was to seamlessly integrate a new bar and accommodation into the existing structure while preserving the historic character that makes The Pier Hotel so special.

The spa features a tranquil massage room, a state-of-the-art steam room, and invigorating plunge baths

16 Units in total ranging from 95m² to 160m², single and two level dwellings. Complete Projects were engaged for consent documentation, where we collaborated with civil, fire, acoustic, survey and structural consultants

Major renovation and addition completed for a growing young family, looking to increase no. of bedrooms and living spaces.

Residence in central Christchurch, designed to allow for a future subdivision and dwelling at the rear of the property.

A collaborative design for a builder looking to develop a modern home in a growing area, with a point of difference.

Six Units, paired and located on site to provide communal vehicle access, but private outdoor living space to each dwelling.

Sloping sites provide the coastal views! This simple shape, multi level, 3 bedroom home was all about the detail. The internal spaces were crafted to mix natural materials with raw finish. The polished concrete slab and expansive openings create a thermal mass to counteract this East facing home.

A post Earthquake rebuild, replacing an old damaged structure that was no longer fit for purpose. As part of this project we also completed a futureproof design for residential apartments above the retail areas to be built at a later date.
