Booths Transport Lidar install

Christchurch & Auckland

Complete Projects provided project management and delivery coordination services for the installation of an automated pallet dimensioning and weighing system within a live transport and logistics facility.

The project involved integrating specialist freight processing technology into an active operational environment to support improved efficiency, automation, and accuracy across the client’s dispatch and freight handling processes. The system automatically scans, measures, weighs, and records pallet and freight information prior to dispatch, reducing manual handling requirements and improving data accuracy throughout the logistics workflow.

Working within a busy live warehouse and freight environment required careful coordination to ensure installation works could be completed safely while maintaining ongoing operations around the project area. Complete Projects coordinated contractors, suppliers, and operational stakeholders to help minimise disruption and ensure the installation aligned with the client’s operational requirements and programme expectations.

A key focus of the project was balancing practical infrastructure requirements with specialist technology integration, including coordination of structural supports, equipment installation, electrical interfaces, protection systems, and operational access considerations within the existing warehouse environment.

The completed system provides the client with improved freight processing accuracy, more reliable operational data, and greater efficiency within day-to-day logistics operations. Enhanced measurement consistency also supports improved financial outcomes by ensuring freight dimensions and weights are captured accurately prior to dispatch.

This project demonstrates how practical project management, industrial infrastructure coordination, and technology integration can work together to support smarter and more efficient logistics environments.
