Weathertightness remediation

Ministry of Education, New Zealand

We’re proud to support the Ministry of Education’s nationwide Weathertightness Remediation Programme, tackling building issues in schools from the early 2000s. For many schools, these problems have meant leaks, dampness, and ongoing damage. This programme is all about putting things right, and creating safe, dry, and healthy learning spaces for tamariki and staff.

At Complete Projects, our involvement centres on the design stage, where we help set the foundation for successful outcomes. This includes:

– Developing practical, cost-effective design solutions that comply with the Ministry’s standards and the NZ Building Code.
– Producing clear, detailed documentation that streamlines the approval process and supports efficienct project delivery.
– Embedding resilience into every design, ensuring durability and reducing the likelihood of future issues.

By focusing on the design stage, we give schools and the Ministry confidence that projects can move forward smoothly and effectively. From concept to completion, our role is to make sure that what is designed on paper translates into safe, dry, and long-lasting environments for tamariki and staff across Aotearoa.
